1. I donīt understand the navigation. How does it work?
You can steer to the main areas of the website using the left side.If you touch the single links with the mouse, they will be coloured green. The green coloured link can then be activated with a mouseclick.In the upper third of the website you can find the area navigation, at which the first link of the row is already activated. Here you can steer to the subareas.
2. What do the three symbols down on the left stand for?
The "house" symbolizes the main menu. Wherever on this website you may be, with one click you will always make your way back to your starting point. The "envelope" offers you direct e-mail contact to ALTHEN without any detours. The "family tree" symbolizes the sitemap. Here you have the complete website in an overview(
.you have already taken this way). By the way: The ALTHEN-Logo is also linked to the main menu from every page, so it has the same function as the "house"-symbol!
3. I clicked on "Team" in the area "Company" and canīt see any of the contents.
The area "Team" was provided with a different technique than the other pages (Macromedia Flash). Unfortunately, older browser donīt always support this. Quick remedial measures can be taken here:Just download the Macromedia Flash Player for free under http://www.macromedia.com/downloads and install it on your computer. You donīt need to be afraid of a virus. If your company network prohibits downloads, then just talk to your systemadministrator.
4. In which screen resolution and with which browser can I see althen.de best?
The website is optimized for the standard resolutions 1024*768px and 800*600px. As for browers, MS Internet Explorer as of 4.0 and Navigator as of 4.7. are advisable.

In the area "press releases" you will find elements released for reproduction, which you can use. Beyond that please contact the webmaster.
7. On the right side you can often see two symbols, a printer and a document, what do they stand for?
The "printer" symbol has the following function: You click on it, if you want to print out the present website. Another window opens, in which the same content as on the actual site is presented optimized for the print-out. The "document" symbol descibes the *.pdf-file to be downloaded. The complete contents as a file to be downloaded. You need the Acrobat Reader by Adobe, which you can download for free under the following URL:
