NM1-ATEX Single Axis Industrial Tilt Measuring System for explosion-hazardous areas

Tilt sensor  NM1-ATEX

The single axis industrial tilt measuring system exists by the combination of a non-contact working inclination sensor of the type AccuStarTM and an electronic-board, which is adapted to the sensor. The measuring system is designed for precise tilt measurement in x-axis and is suitable for explosion-hazardous area. The measurement system is planned for the side wall assembly. The inclination measuring range, that is to be acquired, can be depending on version in the area of ±3°… ±45° or 0 …10° to 0 … 90°. The electrical connection occurs in 2-wire technology, which includes the standard analogue output signal, 4 … 20 mA.

The measurement system is built-in in a robust EMC-safe aluminum diecast enclosure (test condition IP68 1 hrs, 1 m water depth) with outside fixture holes.

Terminal Wiring

Electrical connections are made via cable (Unitronic-FD CP plus, 2x0.25 mm², core insulation PUR-Mixture). The length of the cable varies according to type and version of the tilt measuring system, nevertheless max. 50 m. The cable shield is connected with the enclosure.
