Mounting surface preparation (equivalent for metric screw)

  1. Prepare (or select) a flat mounting surface of at least 0.32 inch diameter. Surface should be flat to 0.001 inch TIR for best high frequency response.
  2. At the center, drill #50 (Ø 0.070 inch) x 0.20 inch (approx. 5.1 mm) deep.
  3. Tap #2-56 UNC-2B x 0.125 min depth.
  4. Clean the area carefully after machining to remove all chips and cutting oils.
