Absolute Encoders & Incrementele Encoders

Absolute encoders

Rotatie encoders zijn er in twee vormen: Absoluut en Incrementeel. Absolute encoders (enkelvoudig of multi-turn) leveren altijd de actuele positiegegevens bij het inschakelen van het systeem, ondanks mogelijke as-rotaties; daarom is het niet nodig om de encoder terug te zetten naar het nulpunt na een stroomonderbreking. De verschillende beschikbare uitgangssignalen en het voedingsbereik maken het mogelijk om absolute roterende encoders te koppelen aan elk telsysteem of PLC-controller. Door de hoge resolutiewaarden zijn de encoders speciaal geschikt voor toepassingen die een hoge nauwkeurigheidsgraad vereisen.

Single-turn en multi-turn encoders bieden:

  • Reading resolution van 4 tot 13 bit en stappen van 2 tot 16 bit / resolutie
  • Binaire of grijze code
  • SSI, push-pull parallel, 0-10V analoge uitgangen
  • Verschillende communicatieprotocollen: EtherNet / IP ™ - EtherCAT® - PROFINET® - PROFIBUS® - CANopen®

Incrementele encoders

Incrementele encoders zijn roterende sensoren die worden onder andere gebruikt om lengte- of diktematen, hoeken of snelheid te meten. Incrementele encoders worden veel gebruikt in industriële machines, gecombineerd met tel-, visualisatie- of besturingssystemen (PLC’s), om geprogrammeerde positioneringen of vooraf ingestelde trappen of wijzigingen te meten. Incrementele encoders bieden een hoge resolutie, grote herhaalnauwkeurigheid.
