With the wireless wheel load measuring system, you can weigh road vehicles or underground railways and precisely determine the weight distribution of each individual axle. The software calculates axle load, bogie load, average values and balance. The results are saved in an automated report and are available to you in numerical and visualised form.
With the vibration measurement systems from Althen, you can detect vibrations and oscillations in machines and systems and measure human vibrations, for example. We supply many of the measuring systems with the appropriate software, which you can use to process, analyse and save the data.

The VIB-3A-IP-24-SP-Z0033 is a three-axis system with three potential-free switching contacts - allowing you to monitor low-frequency vibrations. You can use it, for example, as a safety measuring system for potentially explosive systems in environments with a potential earthquake risk. The measuring system is able to detect earthquakes and distinguish them from normal vibrations caused by heavy lorries, for example. The system we have developed is used by a manufacturer of mobile generators for energy supply, among others.

Turn-Key inclination measuring systems are used wherever the highest possible accuracy is required. They are used to align antenna masts and radio telescopes as well as machines, and to level platforms and turbines. An inclination measuring system for aligning and levelling is a combination of a dual-axis inclination sensor built into a robust aluminium housing and a measuring case with crosshair display and digital display. This special solution from Althen has a measuring accuracy of 0.06%.
The inclination measuring system for turbine mounting has a measuring range of +/-3°, an easy-to-read limit value display and a digital display that shows you the current inclination angle. Thanks to the magnetic feet, you can mount the measuring system quickly and easily on the turbine.
Two dual-axis, high-precision inclinometers are connected to the high-precision dual inclinometer measuring and logging system. Through the transparent cover you can see the display of the built-in data logger, which graphically displays and saves the precise measurement data. You can also record the measured values from the internal temperature sensors of the two inclinometers. You can operate the system with 85 to 230 VAC - thanks to the internal rechargeable battery within a time frame of 4-6 hours.
With various combinations of sensors, the ECS eCompass series serves as a precise orientation component - for example for unmanned vehicles, robotics, weather buoys, platform / antenna positioning, ship navigation, satellite ground stations and much more. The eCompass recognises direction, inclination and roll and determines the azimuth - and is independent of external references such as mobile phone masts or GPS. They are characterised by a particularly long service life and low power consumption and contain no moving parts.
