About the FLAB Series Standard Strain Gauges
This range of strain gauges is using lead-free solder. To overcome the problem that lead-free solder may result in a shorter fatigue life, a unique gauge pattern and special plastics backing have been developed. With the use of lead-free solder for the connection of gauge leads, the strain gauge of this configuration shows a fatigue life equivalent to that of conventional strain gauges.
Owing to the use of special plastics for the backing, operating temperature range of the gauges has been improved to -196 to + 150°C. Integral leadwires for instrumentation are available using lead-free solder and in various types to meet usage conditions.
These strain gauges are compliant to RoHS2 Directive and are supplied with CE marking as standard specification.
