The industrial node 6 ex delivers accurate vibration and temperature measurements to identify abnormal machine behavior in explosive atmospheres. With a frequency range up to 6.3 kHz and 26.7 kHz sampling rate, it ensures high-resolution condition monitoring and supports root-cause analysis. Onboard edge processing calculates KPIs like RMS, PEAK, kurtosis, and crest factor, while FFT analysis enables advanced diagnostics.
Usage conditions
The sensor is designed for hazardous areas with ATEX II 2 G Ex ib IIC T4 certification, suitable for zone 1 and 2. It operates from -40 °C to +60 °C in explosive environments and up to +85 °C in non-hazardous zones. Its IP68 stainless steel housing ensures robust operation under dust, moisture, and vibration. Powered by a lithium thionyl chloride battery, the device runs autonomously for up to 3 years.
