About the xSC-RACK

The xSC rack is suitable for the simultaneous acquisition of several pressure and temperature signals from up to 8 individual devices from the PSC and TSC series. The functionality of the individual devices has been retained and extended by a command set for the rack. This means that commands can be referenced both to individual units and to the entire rack.

Up to 192 pressure and/or temperature channels can be measured with the xSC rack. The slots can be assigned individually.

Data is transmitted as ASCII text in Pascal [Pa] for PSC devices and [°C] for TSC devices. The transmission rate can be set in the range between 1 and max. 100Hz using a simple protocol.

The TARA function of the PSC pressure scanners can be triggered via a software command both for individual devices and for the entire rack. PSC pressure scanners with a ‘purge’ function for blowing out the measuring lines are supplied with compressed air via the rear panel.

The xSC rack is powered via a 4-pin M12 connector.
The PSC and TSC plug-in modules can also be used independently without the rack housing.
