8047M Potential Monitoring Set
Complete Monitoring Set which visualizes the potential difference between the propeller shaft and ship's structure
Potential Monitoring Set
Propeller Shaft Earthing Systems (PSE) are indispensable for seagoing ships all over the world. Our over 50 years of experience in Propeller Shaft Earthing Systems has resulted in a proven and optimized system recognized by many companies in the shipbuilding industry.
In addition to our Propeller Shaft Earthing Set, a Potential Monitoring Set in the engine room visualizes the potential difference between the propeller shaft and the hull of the ship. The monitoring set contains an additional brushholder with a single brush that runs over the silver track of the slipring. This brushholder is insulated from the hull of the ship and connected to an analog mV-meter that indicates if the PSE set is working properly. The advantage of this monitoring set is that it operates independently without the need of power supply. The analog mV-meter on the monitoring unit has a range of 0-500mV.
Our PSE system is a proven and optimized system, recognized by many companies in the shipbuilding industry.
The 8047M Monitoring Set can be part of a complete Propeller Shaft Earthing System.
