The products, which all bear the “Made in Germany” seal of quality, include uniaxial, biaxail, and triaxial capacitive acceleration sensors with large frequency ranges, great shock resistance, and a wide range of operating temperatures. The portfolio also includes piezoelectric IEPE acceleration sensors made of PZT ceramics, as well as tilt sensors, inertial measurement units (IMUs), and gyroscope sensors.
“ASC products are used to ensure operational safety of machine components, buildings, vehicles, and machines in the automotive, railway, renewable energy, automation, and aviation industries. Customers benefit from the cooperation through improved access to all components as well as expert advice and customer service above and beyond mere sensor procurement. We are very happy to combine networks with our new partner and benefit from each other’s expertise,” says Timo Hartmann, Managing Director at Althen Sensors & Controls Germany.
