About the auto safety testing accelerometer

The Model 64C accelerometer is a piezoresistive MEMS accelerometer for auto safety testing, crush zone testing and dummy instrumentation. The sensor offers measuring ranges from ±50g to ±6000g and is suitable for demanding shock and impact measurements.

The 64C features a full bridge output, gas damping and a flat frequency response to more than 8 kHz. The sensor complies with SAE-J211/J2570 and ISO-6487. This makes it suitable for accurate measurements during crash tests and dynamic safety tests.
