Performance highlights

The ASC 61C1 is a uniaxial piezoresistive accelerometer designed for dynamic applications such as crash and shock testing. Its highly stable MEMS sensor ensures reliable performance with excellent linearity and low frequency response starting from 0Hz. Available in three ranges (500g, 1000g, 2000g), the sensor is suitable for a wide array of impact measurements.

Usage conditions

This sensor operates within a wide temperature range of -20°C to +80°C, and features epoxy-sealed aluminium housing. Thanks to its low weight (3g without cable) and compact size, it can be easily mounted with adhesive or screws. The 4-wire output can be directly connected to common data acquisition systems.

Possible applications

  • Automotive crash testing
  • Shock and impact analysis
  • Aerospace component testing
  • Safety equipment certification
  • Industrial vibration monitoring

Advantages of choosing this product

The ASC 61C1 offers an ideal combination of compactness, robustness, and precise performance for dynamic acceleration measurements. Its compatibility with TEDS modules, custom cabling, and its high overload resistance make it a flexible and reliable solution for testing professionals.

Other important features

  • Excitation voltage: 3–10 VDC
  • Shock limit: ±5000g
  • Frequency response up to 2500Hz
  • Factory-calibrated with shaker and shock methods
