About the ASC P311A15 Industrial IEPE piezoelectric Accelerometer

The ASC P311A15 and P311A25 are uniaxial industrial accelerometers based on the piezoelectric compression principle with integrated IEPE electronics. These sensors offer a wide measurement range from ±16 g up to ±800 g, and excellent dynamic response, making them ideal for high-speed, high-impact testing.

Usage conditions

These sensors are designed to operate reliably in harsh environments thanks to their stainless steel IP68 housing. They withstand extreme temperatures from -55 °C to +140 °C and shocks up to 5,000 g. Their compact design, low noise floor (<100 µg), and simple 2-wire coaxial connectivity enable easy integration into existing systems.

Possible applications

  • Condition monitoring in heavy industrial systems
  • Vibration testing in renewable energy (e.g. wind turbines)
  • Railway engineering and rolling stock stability testing
  • Impact and fatigue analysis
  • Monitoring of rotating equipment

Advantages of choosing this product

Engineers benefit from the high sensitivity range (10 to 500 mV/g), various mounting thread options, and quick installation thanks to detachable cable options. These accelerometers are highly suitable for applications requiring robust, repeatable measurements with minimal signal degradation.

Other important features

  • Signal via integrated charge-to-voltage conversion
  • Side or top connector options with different thread types
  • Customizable cable length and materials (PUR or FEP)
  • Optional enhanced scale factor tolerance (±5%)

Options

  • Customised Cable Length
  • Metric Mounting Studs
  • ±5% Tolerance on Sensitivity (Precision Models)
