About the FTCSmicro-2W-LT Infrared Temperature Sensor

The compact pyrometer FTCSmicro-2W-LT is equipped with an innovative, miniaturized stainless steel measuring head, which can be employed in limited and narrow spaces without any problems. Its high temperature resistance up to 180°C (356 °F) without cooling makes it the ideal measuring device in hot ambient temperatures.

The infrared pyrometer has been designed for a temperature range from -40°C to 1,030°C (-40 °F to 1886 °F) and is equipped with an LED display for alarm signalization, target assistance, self-diagnosis or temperature-code display. It can be operated via simple two-wire installation or be plugged via USB.

The pyrometer FTCSmicro-2W-LT has been designed for the measurement of non-metallic surfaces.
Since the IR thermometer offers a temperature resistance of up to 180°C without cooling, it is ideally suited for e.g. surveillance of surface temperatures during lamination processes in vehicle interiors, which take place in temperatures of about 120°C.

In the plastics industry, the pyrometer works perfectly for temperature regulation during the thermoforming of foils, where it monitors defined measurement points.
