Performance overview
The LMP series load measuring pins from LCM Systems are precision-engineered to replace standard load-bearing pins in cranes, winches, hoists, and bearing blocks. They enable accurate real-time force monitoring without altering the mechanical structure. Made from high tensile stainless steel, each pin is proof-loaded to 150% and available in capacities from 500 kg up to 1500 tonnes.
LMP pins are designed for demanding environments and applications requiring maximum durability, reliability, and accuracy. With integrated signal conditioning options, they can be connected directly to PLCs or control systems, or combined with Althen’s full range of instrumentation for a complete load monitoring solution.
Operating conditions & installation
Rated IP67, the LMP pin is suited for outdoor and marine environments. It can operate from -20 to +70 °C (Ex d versions: up to +55 °C). The pins are delivered with a 5 m PUR cable as standard and can be supplied with connectors. Custom signal outputs and electrical configurations are available on request.
