The S508 is a high-resolution submersible rotary sensor engineered for harsh industrial, marine, vehicle, and offshore applications. It delivers precise angular feedback using Althen’s non-contact inductive technology. With excellent linearity (≤ ±0.25% FSO) and virtually infinite resolution, this sensor ensures reliable, repeatable measurements over long service life—even under extreme conditions.

Usage conditions

Encased in 316 stainless steel and sealed to both IP68 (10 Bar) and IP69K standards, the S508 is designed for rugged environments with full EMC protection. It operates reliably between -40°C to +125°C and is vibration and shock resistant (IEC 68-2-6 and 68-2-29).
