The H118 is a short stroke linear position sensor using non-contact inductive technology, ensuring zero wear and exceptional reliability. It delivers a linear analog output signal proportional to displacement, with infinite resolution and high frequency response >10 kHz. The sensor features excellent repeatability, low noise (<0.02% FSO), and high thermal stability across -40°C to +80°C.

Usage conditions

Certified for use in hazardous environments, the H118 is intrinsically safe for gas and dust zones, including Class I, Division 1 and Zone 0 / Zone 20. It must be used with a galvanic isolation amplifier (e.g., Althen G005). The stainless steel enclosure is IP67 sealed and compliant with EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-3 EMC standards.
