About the P133 Mid-stroke linear position sensor
The P133 is a robust, space-saving mid-stroke linear position sensor built for industrial and OEM applications requiring precise measurement within a compact form. With a body diameter of 35 mm and customizable stroke between 51 mm and 100 mm, it is ideal where space constraints and reliability are critical.
Advanced inductive sensing
Like all Althen sensors, the P133 uses contactless inductive technology to provide a DC analog signal, ensuring excellent durability and eliminating wear. The output is linear and calibrated to the customer’s requested stroke. Available resolutions are infinite, and the sensor has high immunity to noise and vibration (10 g), and supports frequency responses >10 kHz or >300 Hz for 2-wire current output.
Highly configurable design
- Plunger options: M4 threaded, rod eye, magnetic tip, dome end (spring-loaded)
- Mounting styles: flange, rod eye bearings, or body clamps
- Output signals: ratiometric voltage (0.5–4.5V), ±5V, ±10V, 0.5–9.5V, 4–20 mA (2- or 3-wire), etc.
- Sealing levels: IP65 or IP67 depending on connector and cable choice
- Calibrated gain/offset options available (axial version only)
Installation made easy
Available in both axial and radial configurations, the P133 is compatible with DIN 43650, M12 connectors, or cable glands. The plunger extension at start and optional dome tip are clearly defined in technical drawings on page 5.
