Performance highlights

The G500 rotary position sensor is a CSA-certified, intrinsically safe sensor for hazardous gas/vapour environments, ideal for use in Zone 0 or Class I, Division 1 areas. It uses a non-contacting inductive technology, offering wear-free operation and excellent long-term stability. The sensor is supplied calibrated to a specific angle (between 16° and 160°), and delivers a linear analogue output (0.5–4.5 V) via EX08 electronics.

Usage conditions

The G500 features robust stainless steel housing (Ø35 mm), is sealed up to IP65/IP67, and offers high vibration/shock resistance (10 g / 40 g). It operates in a wide temperature range of -40°C to +80°C and complies with EN 61000-6-2 / -6-3 EMC standards.
