  • Available with integrated lead wires
  • Self-temperature compensation for various materials
  • Designed for shear, torque, and residual stress measurements
  • Operating temperature range: -196°C to +150°C

About the F Series Foil strain gauge

Specialized gauges for shear, torque, and residual stress measurements

The F-Series strain gauges are specifically designed for advanced applications such as shear strain measurement, torque sensing, residual stress analysis, and the detection of stress concentrations. The series also includes 2-axis strain gauges for planar surfaces.

Constructed with a Cu-Ni alloy foil as the sensing grid and temperature-resistant plastic backings, these strain gauges support a wide operating temperature range from -196°C to +150°C. The backing materials are color-coded to indicate the target material for self-temperature compensation, simplifying selection for engineers.

When supplied with Option-F, the F-Series gauges are RoHS compliant and use lead-free solder. GOBLET models are lead-free as standard. Versions with integrated lead wires are also available in various configurations to match your installation requirements.
