About the F Series GOBLET Foil Strain Gauges
The F-series GOBLET strain gauges are a high-performance solution for precise stress and strain measurements in general industrial and test & measurement applications. Based on proven foil strain gauge technology, the F-series has been further developed to meet modern requirements and is supplied as standard RoHS2 compliant and CE marked.
Thanks to a unique grid pattern and a special plastic backing, the GOBLET models offer excellent fatigue life comparable to conventional strain gauges—even when using lead-free connections. This ensures not only high measurement accuracy but also compliance with environmentally friendly manufacturing requirements.
Another key advantage of the F-series GOBLET is its wide operating temperature range from −196 °C to +150 °C, enabling flexible use under extreme temperature conditions. The color-coded backing helps users easily identify suitable temperature compensation materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.
The strain gauges are available in a wide variety of grid types and resistance values (e.g., 120 Ω, 350 Ω, or 1000 Ω) and can optionally be supplied with integrated lead wires featuring lead-free solder connections—ideal for diverse measurement setups and bridge configurations.
Typical application areas include:
- Structural and material testing
- Load and stress analysis
- Research and development
- Machinery and vehicle testing
The F-series GOBLET therefore sets new standards in terms of reliability, precision, and environmental compatibility, making it an excellent choice for standard strain measurement technology in demanding environments.
