About the A801 “Tuff Tilt” Analog Tiltmeter

– precise, rugged tilt sensor for monitoring & leveling

The A801 “Tuff Tilt” is a high-precision analog tiltmeter (available in single- or dual-axis versions) for reliable tilt measurement in industrial and monitoring applications. It uses an absolute, gravity-referenced electrolytic sensor, delivering high accuracy with virtually zero long-term drift. High-gain versions achieve sensitivity of < 0.0017 mm/m (or better).

For easy integration, the A801 provides a stable ±5 VDC output (±10 VDC differential), compatible with common data loggers that accept VDC inputs. With an IP65 seal, it is also suitable for use in demanding environments.

Key benefits

  • Ranges: ±0.5°, ±3°, or ±50°
  • Resolution: up to < 0.0001° (range dependent)
  • Output: ±5 VDC (single-ended) / ±10 VDC (differential)
  • Channels: tilt + temperature
  • Single- or dual-axis: 1 or 2 axes available
  • Supply: 8–18 VDC, reverse polarity protected
  • Environmental: operating −25 to +70 °C, IP65, 3 m cable
  • RoHS-compliant versions available

Typical applications

  • Structural monitoring (structures and industrial assets)
  • Platform leveling
  • Industrial measurement & control

Options & accessories

Mounting and operation accessories include mounting brackets/plates, optional connectors, and a readout module.
