About the A802 “Deepwater” 

– high-precision, submersible tiltmeter for offshore and deep-ocean applications

The A802 Deepwater is a high-precision, submersible tiltmeter designed for marine, offshore, and deep-ocean deployments. It uses an absolute, gravity-referenced electrolytic sensor, delivering very high accuracy with virtually zero long-term drift. High-gain versions achieve sensitivity of < 0.0017 mm/m (or better).

For easy integration into measurement and monitoring systems, the A802 provides a stable ±5 VDC output (±10 VDC differential), compatible with common data loggers that accept VDC inputs. The housing is engineered for underwater use and—depending on configuration—is watertight down to 2,500 m; sealing is IP68.
