About the ASC TSF-360-CAN fluidic tilt sensor
The ASC TSF-360-CAN is based on proven fluidic tilt sensor technology and utilizes the physical principle that a liquid surface always aligns horizontally under the influence of gravity. Using a capacitive electrode arrangement, the tilt angle is measured with high resolution and accuracy.
The sensor integrates robust MEMS fluidic elements with digital electronics and ensures precise inclination data across the full 360° measurement range. Accuracy is better than 0.15° over the entire range, with typical values <0.10°. With a resolution of <0.01°, the sensor is suitable for demanding monitoring applications.
Measurement data is internally digitized and transmitted via a CAN or CANopen interface. A flexible supply voltage of 9 to 32 VDC ensures compatibility with a wide range of systems. Internal temperature compensation ensures stable performance between −40 °C and +85 °C.
Operating Conditions
The sensor is housed in a rugged anodized aluminum enclosure with IP67 protection and is designed for reliable operation in harsh outdoor environments. With a standard 5-pin M12 connector, it can be easily integrated into existing systems. At just 80 g, it is lightweight yet robust.
