Althen Group is expanding with the addition of Kreisler Import B.V., a specialist supplier with more than 55 years of experience in technical markets. Kreisler will continue to operate as a recognisable organisation with its two divisions, Kreisler Components and Kreisler Publications. Valerie and Victor Kreisler will remain actively involved in the day to day operations of the company.
Founded in 1970, Kreisler Import has built up extensive specialist knowledge and long standing relationships with customers and suppliers. Kreisler Components supplies electronic components and accessories, including difficult to source and obsolete parts. Kreisler Publications specialises in technical publications, international standards, specifications and regulations. The company serves customers across a wide range of technical markets, including aerospace, defence, rail, shipbuilding, energy, industry and electronics.
Building on a strong foundation
For Valerie and Victor Kreisler, securing the long term future of the company was an important consideration.

Kreisler complements this expertise with its knowledge of electronic components and technical publications.
Both organisations will continue to operate from their own specialist expertise, customer relationships and market positions. For the Althen Group as a whole, the addition creates further opportunities to connect knowledge, markets and networks across its specialised technical companies, while preserving the individual strengths and identities of each organisation.
