Cylindrical force transducers

Cylindrical force sensors are also called cylindrical force transducers or cylindrical load cells. Cylindrical force transducers consist of a cylindrical spring body or spring body made of metal or stainless steel. When a force acts on this cylindrical spring body, the surface deforms. The actual sensor element is the strain gauges, which are mounted on the spring body. The strain gauges absorb the mechanical deformation and transform it into an electrical output signal.
