Miniature force transducers
Miniature force sensors are also called miniature force transducers, miniature load cells or small size force transducers. Miniature force sensors consist of a miniature spring body or spring body made of metal or stainless steel. When a force acts on this miniature spring body, the surface deforms. The actual sensor element is the strain gauges, which are mounted on the spring body. The strain gauges absorb the mechanical deformation and transform it into an electrical output signal.
