The ASC 271 is a uniaxial MEMS vibrating ring gyroscope engineered for precise angular rate measurement in industrial and automotive environments. With selectable ranges from ±75 °/s to ±900 °/s, bias instability of 12 °/hr, and angular random walk of 0.2 °/√hr, it ensures highly stable performance. Its balanced ring design minimizes sensitivity to shocks and vibrations, while delivering an analog voltage output proportional to angular rate.

Usage conditions

The ASC 271 features a lightweight anodized aluminum housing that provides case isolation and IP65 protection. It operates reliably across −40 °C to +85 °C and withstands shocks up to 500 g (operational) and 10,000 g (survival). Power supply ranges from 5–40 VDC, with low power consumption of just 6 mA during operation.
