About the P112 Linear Inductive Position Sensor
The P112 (also known as gauge head position sensor) is a robust and cost-effective linear position sensor designed for high-precision gauge head applications in demanding industrial and scientific environments. Using non-contacting inductive technology, it ensures exceptionally long operational life by eliminating mechanical wear.
High performance & customization
Each unit is factory-calibrated to a customer-specified travel range between 5 mm and 50 mm, ensuring tailored accuracy and responsiveness. It features infinite resolution, excellent linearity (≤ ±0.25% FSO), and a high frequency response of over 10 kHz, making it ideal for dynamic measurement tasks.
Rugged & reliable
Built with a stainless steel body and plunger, the P112 is engineered for resilience in harsh conditions. It is IP67-rated, resistant to shock (40 g), vibration (10 g), and operates reliably across a wide temperature range from –40°C to +125°C.
Installation made easy
Installation is simple via a ½-inch UNF mounting thread, and includes two lock nuts. The spring-loaded plunger with a domed end provides a consistent contact point. Flexible connection options include M12 connectors, cable glands, and cable boots, all rated IP67.
Output options
The P112 offers flexible electrical output configurations:
- Voltage outputs (0.5–4.5V, 0.5–9.5V)
 - Ratiometric (5V supply)
 - Current loop (4–20 mA, 3-wires
 - This ensures easy integration into analog control systems across industries.

Applications
Ideal for:
- OEM equipment requiring accurate position control
 - Gauge heads for industrial machinery
 - Test & measurement setups in laboratories
 - Custom engineering systems needing compact sensors
