About the NM1-IP-4L Tilt Measurement System
The NM1-IP-4L is an industrial, single-axis tilt measurement system designed for precise detection of inclination angles in demanding applications. It combines a contactless tilt sensor with specially matched electronics, enabling reliable single-axis measurements.
The system is designed for sidewall mounting and is particularly suitable for use in machinery, plants, and other industrial environments where robust and continuous tilt monitoring is required.
The measurement range is flexible and can be selected from ±3° to ±60° or 0 … 90°, depending on the version. Electrical connection is implemented via 4-wire technology, with various standard analog outputs such as 0 … 10 V, ±10 V, or 4 … 20 mA available. This allows easy integration into existing control and evaluation systems.
The tilt measurement system is housed in a robust, EMC-protected aluminum die-cast enclosure with IP66 protection. This ensures high resistance to dust, moisture, and mechanical stress, making the sensor ideal for harsh industrial environments.
