About the NM1‑ISU‑IP Tilt Measurement System
The NM1‑ISU‑IP is an industrial, single-axis tilt measurement system for precise detection of inclination angles in demanding environments. It is specifically designed for sidewall mounting and provides reliable monitoring of tilt changes along the X-axis.
The system combines a contactless tilt sensor with advanced electronics for accurate measurement data. Tilt ranges can be flexibly set via an internal DIP switch – including ranges from ±10° to ±180°, depending on the version.
Measured values are output via a serial RS232 interface. Optional variants also provide a scalable analog output (4 … 20 mA) for easy integration into common control and automation systems.
The measurement system is housed in a robust, EMC-protected aluminum die-cast enclosure with IP66 protection, resistant to mechanical stress, dust, and moisture – ideal for harsh industrial environments.
