About the P111 - Rugged stand-alone Linear Inductive Position Sensor

Reliable position feedback for demanding applications. The P111 linear position sensor is designed for engineers seeking accurate, maintenance-free position feedback in tough environments. It is a more robust version of the P101 model, featuring a reinforced 12.6 mm stainless steel push rod, specifically designed for longer strokes and applications with high mechanical stress or vibration.

Advanced inductive technology with long life

Unlike traditional potentiometers, the P111 uses Althen’s non-contacting inductive technology. This means no mechanical wear, infinite resolution, and a remarkably long operating life (MTBF: 350,000 hours at 40°C). It delivers a precise linear output signal, factory-calibrated to your required stroke from 5 mm to 800 mm.

Configurable and easy to integrate

Available with multiple output types (analog voltage and current), mounting styles (M8 rod eyes, clamps), and push rod tips (threaded, dome, magnetic). Optional features include spring-loaded rods, calibration access, and various electrical connectors (M12, DIN 43650 C).
