Dual-output vibration sensors are specialized devices for measuring vibrations and oscillations that provide two different output signals simultaneously. This combination enables particularly flexible use of measurement data for monitoring, analysis, and control.
Typically, dual-output sensors provide, for example, a dynamic output signal (e.g., IEPE) for detailed vibration analysis, as well as a low-frequency or DC signal (e.g., 4–20 mA) for continuous condition monitoring.

How Dual-Output Vibration Sensors Work
Dual-output vibration sensors detect mechanical vibrations and convert them into two separate electrical output signals that serve different requirements.
The measurement principle is usually based on piezoelectric sensing elements that convert vibrations into electrical signals. The internal electronics process the signal and provide it in two forms:
