Which process connections are used for high-pressure transducers?
Yes. A compact example is the Sensorade mp2.40 differential pressure transducer, which is particularly suitable for measuring differential pressure in air and for aerodynamics applications.
Because a differential pressure sensor requires two pressure connections, it is generally larger than a single miniature pressure sensor. For applications with very limited installation space, it is therefore important to determine whether a compact differential pressure sensor provides sufficient space savings or whether a custom solution using miniature pressure sensors is more appropriate.

Are custom pinouts available for industrial pressure transducers?
Yes. Depending on the model, industrial pressure transducers can be supplied with different electrical connections and pinouts. The standard pressure transducer pinout is specified in the relevant datasheet and depends on factors such as the output signal, wiring configuration and connector type, for example a 2-wire, 3-wire or 4-wire connection.
Many pressure transducers are available with different electrical connection options, including DIN connectors, M12 connectors and cable outlets. For the M20, for example, connection options include a 4-pin DIN connector, a 4-pin M12 connector and a PUR cable. Available output signals include 4–20 mA, 0–5 V, 1–5 V and 0–10 V, depending on the model.
A custom pinout or alternative electrical connection may be possible depending on the sensor model and application. The AGS4200 pressure transducer is available with different output and electrical connection options. For applications involving existing wiring, replacement sensors or customer-specific integration, the required pinout and connector configuration should therefore be specified before ordering.
Are industrial pressure transducers available for hydraulic pressures of 250–350 bar?
Yes. Althen offers industrial pressure transducers for hydraulic applications with typical pressure ranges such as 250 bar and 350 bar. These pressure ranges are commonly used in hydraulic systems, test benches, machine control systems and mobile machinery.
When selecting a hydraulic pressure transducer, not only the nominal pressure range should be considered, but also possible pressure peaks, overpressure capability, process medium, temperature range, process connection and output signal. Robust pressure transducers with suitable process connections and industrial output signals such as 4–20 mA or 0–10 V are commonly used in hydraulic applications.
Suitable pressure transducers include the MPM4511, AGS4200 and MPM380. These models cover typical high-pressure ranges in hydraulic systems and are designed for liquids and demanding industrial environments.
